Madeline Weaver (500099)

 

I've met her first in the Space Station before we went down to Big K. We decided to be Battlebuddies for that mission, on order of our squad lead that is. Since then we pretty much have become the biggest battle buddies. One could consider it somekind of a bromance between us and I wouldn't have it any other way. So far she's my best friend and I hope it stays that way. PS. I killed more Tankers than she did. I'm also holding the world record of the longest Tanker shot.

My Warrant Officer. Personally? Don't know too much about her except she's the most terrible with aiming those rockets out of all of us. Sometimes she's alright, sometimes I feel like to simply hate her. But in the end of the day, I think she cares enough to have me alive which is good enough. Keep miss firing those missles, Warrant Officer.

2022/12/19 — Joined Engineers

I've joined engineers. Reading the manual and what not sure gave me a bonus but fuuuuuuuuuck me I hate reading. Still looking forward to be a fine engineer. Seems like I just got myself some new toys to work with after all.

2022/12/18 — Satans Asshole

And we went down the lions cave. Or "Satans Asshole" as we lovely named it. It was chaos. Death all over the place. So many have died. MacLeod, Hayashi, Kast... The leaders of Maulers, Hydras and Killers. All dead. And so many more troopers followed them to the afterlife. This was my biggest challenge to keep myself together but I eventually managed to still keep my cool mind and still help people.

2022/12/18 — Scouting Mission in Big K.

I've immediately volunteered in a scouting party without questions. Was able to impress the captain with quick reflexes, accuracy and even with my skill to estimate the range between us and the Plasma bugs with my thumb. I knew that skill would be useful one day. We've taken out some bugs and prepared a pully system to move our soldiers and wounded safely. Helped as much as I could. That one Engineer named VonBattersea actually offered me to join Engineers. I actually didn't thought about it but I think I'll do consider to join them. Could be an interesting opportunity... Even if it means I'll have to read through manuals.... I hate reading.

2320/12/17 — The Biggest K.

Holy fucking shit... We dropped down to Klendathu, it's an ugly place and full with these giant bug creatures. They killed so many of us already I can't even count, it was a pure clusterfuck and fuckfest. I gotta keep my nerves together, can't allow myself to lose my cool in here. Deep breath, shoot gun and run... Wish it would be that easy, but so many people gotten wounded. I can't leave them behind. I have to help them. Any life saved is worth to stay behind or even risking my own life. We manage to find a small but safe spot to set up a camp and rest for the night, lick our wounds. There was that one retarded recruit yelling in the radio to leave people behind and even insulting everyone. Everyone told him to shut the fuck up. He bit the dust and everyone's actually happy, even though is morally questionable.

2320/12/17 — Space Station K.

We all been stationated in the Space Station. And before we even went down to our own operation, we already got fights and dramas including one death of an engineer and a dishonorable discharge for its murder. I'm questioning myself slowly to what I have enlisted to... I've met this girl though. New Recruit, not even really trained and fresh. Her name is Madeline Weaver. We chosed to be battle buddies.

2022/12/10 — Camp Currie

I'm a late arrival of Camp Currie and was immediately assigned to join the Maulers for a simulation fight between the squads. It was intense and I did manage to have a kill count of 3-4 soldiers during that simulation. We got eventually shellshocked by artillery and flanked during a storm. But we're pretty much second place. It was fun. But my instinct tell me once I'm on the field, it'll be nothing like that.

2320/12/05 — My last days in Hod.

I'm writing this down as I'm hitchhiking, hoping to get sent to the next enlisting station. I've been travelling most of the time, father taught me a lot to take care of myself. Using my thumb to estimate ranges between me and my destinations has been quite useful. It'll be my last days in Hod. Said goodbye to my father and my brother. Maybe I'll see my bigger sister in the Fleet. I'll be sure to send them money from time to time when I can.
